Long John Silver’s – “We Insist”
It’s increasingly common for clients to want to use old footage in new ways to save on production costs – this national broadcast promotion for Long John Silver’s was no different.
Jeff Ayala’s longstanding experience working with food footage means not only that we’re well versed in the art of re-purposing, but also the art of directing for food. Countless hours with food footage means the know-how of how directors both compose their shots and break down the theory and approach behind the spots. The challenge in this case was to take four different sources of footage and meld them into a coherent piece using newly acquired on-camera talent footage as the bridge. Oh, and pulling it off from concept to air in two weeks. Whew!
