Papa John’s – “60 Feet 6 Promo”
These spots were originally conceived of as archived Rangers footage of Derek playing paired with voice over, but we strongly felt that Derek’s message was more impactful with him on-camera, addressing his fans face to face.
Going into the production, we were a bit apprehensive of DH’s reputation as a cut-up goofball. Would it be a challenge to get him to a place that was sincere and heartfelt? To our suprise, he was on board with Jeff’s direction from the get-go. They worked together to acheive the sincere, hearfelt delivery of the message about 60 Feet 6, Derek’s leukemia charity.
We don’t alywas get the chance to, but it’s so great in this business when we can do something good – and still serve our clients.
